Make friends and learn new skills in a string ensemble!

Over three days of intensive workshops, students of violin, viola, cello and double bass will develop their sound while learning new ensemble skills. Summer Strings is the perfect opportunity to make new friends and tune up your skills before going back to school!

This brand-new program is highly recommended for students in Year 5 through Year 8 who are comfortable playing their instrument solo (AMEB Grades 1 to 4, or equivalent), and are looking for an opportunity to develop their skills and play with other people. Young players will gain essential knowledge that will prepare them for future orchestral programs such as Penrith Youth Orchestra.

Summer Strings is the perfect way to keep budding string players musically engaged through the summer holidays, while making them prepared for a whole year of new artistic opportunities.
