Studio Hire for Music Practice
Looking for a quiet, professional space to rehearse or refine your skills?
Penrith Conservatorium of Music offers 17 purpose-built music practice studios available for hire by the general public.
Whether you’re a soloist perfecting your technique or a small ensemble of up to three musicians, our studios provide the ideal environment for focused, high-quality practice.
Each studio is equipped with an upright piano, music stand, and acoustic treatment to ensure a comfortable and productive session.
Studios are available for casual or ongoing use, subject to availability. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, brushing up on repertoire, or just need a regular space to practise—we’ve got you covered.
Studio Hire Fees
Standard rate: $30.00 per hour (incl. GST)
Penrith Con student rate: $24.00 per hour (incl. GST)
Payment can be made by debit / credit card online or in person at our office.
Availability
During School Terms
Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 8:30pm
During School Holidays
Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 4:30pm

Terms of Use
Permitted Use
Hired music studios are available for music rehearsal or study use only.
Studios must not be used for the provision of private lessons, paid tuition, or to conduct business activities of any kind without the written approval of Penrith Conservatorium of Music.
Supervision
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible guardian at all times.
Booking and Payment
- All studio bookings must be made in advance.
- Full payment is required to secure your booking.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking may be non-refundable.
Access and Duration
- Access to the studio is strictly limited to the allocated booking time.
- Early entry or overstaying without approval is not permitted.
Behaviour and Responsibility
- The hirer is responsible for the conduct and safety of all participants in their group.
- All users are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly.
Damage and Liability
- Any damage to studio equipment or facilities must be reported immediately.
- Hirers may be held liable for repair or replacement costs caused by misuse or negligence.
Noise and Courtesy
- Please be mindful of noise levels and other users in the facility.
- Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in the immediate termination of studio use without refund.
Cleanliness and Pack Down
- Studios must be left clean and tidy.
- All personal belongings must be removed, and any furniture or equipment returned to its original position.
Prohibited Activities
Smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the premises.
Right to Refuse Access
Penrith Conservatorium of Music reserves the right to refuse studio hire or remove access to any individual or group at its discretion.
