Join us for a morning devoted to some of the most evocative works in the classical repertoire.
Penrith Con’s Summer Recital brings together a vibrant selection of pieces that span the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and modern eras; each chosen for its expressive colour, technical brilliance, and lasting place in musical history.
From Vivaldi’s storm-filled pages and Bach’s lively keyboard writing to Beethoven’s dramatic narrative style, the program moves through some of the defining voices of Western art music. The Romantic imagination unfolds through Chopin’s sweeping lyricism, while Ravel’s shimmering sound-world paints the sea in motion. The recital closes with Shostakovich’s charming and characterful miniatures for two violins and piano.
