Welcome to Penrith Conservatorium of Music, an esteemed institution that fosters a passion for music and nurtures artistic talents. An entity of Penrith Performing & Visual Arts Ltd., Penrith Con provides a diverse range of individual tuition and group courses tailored to meet the unique musical aspirations of our students.
Our Terms and Conditions have been designed to ensure a harmonious and enriching learning experience for all enrolled individuals. We kindly request that you thoroughly review and comply with the following provisions, as they govern the enrolment process, responsibilities, and the conduct of both students and guardians.

- Penrith Conservatorium of Music and its Tutors accept new enrolments for Private Lessons by Term. Current and future Term Dates for Private Lessons can be found Here
- Late enrolment in Private Lessons may be accepted at the discretion of Penrith Conservatorium of Music and its Tutors.
- Students with an active current enrolment in Private Lessons will be automatically re-enrolled for subsequent Terms to facilitate seamless delivery of services.
- If a Student or Client wishes to cancel an enrolment for an upcoming Term, it is imperative to notify Penrith Conservatorium of Music in writing at penrithcon@ppandva.com.au before the conclusion of the current Term. If the Student or Client does not give sufficient advance notice of enrolment cancellation, they will be held liable for late enrolment cancellation fees in accordance with Section 2. Fees.
- Casual Lessons may be offered at the discretion of Penrith Conservatorium of Music and its Tutors. See Section 2 for Payment for Casual lessons.
- Penrith Conservatorium of Music does not provide free trial lessons.
- Penrith Conservatorium of Music accepts new enrolments for Group Lessons by Course.
- Late enrolment in Group Lessons may be accepted at the discretion of Penrith Conservatorium of Music.
- Where a late enrolment in Group Lessons is offered to a Client, the full Course fee will be applicable.
- Students with an active current enrolment in Group Lessons may be automatically re-enrolled for the same Course in the subsequent Term, if ongoing enrolment is compatible with the Course format. Penrith Conservatorium of Music will provide the Client with adequate notice of automatic re-enrolment in Group Lessons.
- If a Student or Client wishes to terminate their enrolment for an upcoming Term, they must notify Penrith Conservatorium of Music in writing at penrithcon@ppandva.com.au before the commencement date of the relevant Course.
- Penrith Conservatorium of Music does not provide free trial group lessons.
- All fees must be paid in advance and in full prior to the commencement of Activities.
- Payment for outstanding invoices is accepted in full only.
- An Administration Fee of $15.00 is payable once per Student per Term for enrolment in Private Lessons.
- An Administration Fee of $15.00 is applicable for each invoice raised for Casual Private Lessons.
- Requests for credit transfers or reallocation of fees must be made in writing to Penrith Conservatorium of Music before close of business, on Friday of Week 2 of the current Term. For any requests received after this date, no credits, refunds, transfers, or fee adjustments will be granted.
- Clients with outstanding fees will not be permitted to attend Activities until payment is received in full for the current Term or service period. Penrith Conservatorium of Music and its Tutors reserve the right to withhold or refuse service due to non-payment.
- Any Activities or services missed by the Student or Client due to non-payment are forfeit, remain billable and will not be rescheduled or credited.
- Any correspondence regarding fees and payment must be in writing to Penrith Conservatorium of Music at penrithcon@ppandva.com.au.
- If a Student or Client is unable to attend a scheduled Activity, they must notify Penrith Conservatorium of Music by phone on (02) 4723 7611 or by email to penrithcon@ppandva.com.au.
- No refunds, credits or make-up lessons will be provided for Activities missed by the Student or Client.
- If a Tutor is unable to deliver an Activity, the Student or Client will be notified by Penrith Conservatorium of Music. The Tutor will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the missed Activity. If rescheduling is not possible, a credit for the missed Activity will be applied to the Client’s account.
- The Administration Fee is non-refundable.
- The first two weeks of any enrolment in Private Lessons or Group Lessons are non-refundable.
- Casual Private Lessons are non-refundable.
- Students or Clients seeking to cancel an enrolment for the current Term must notify Penrith Conservatorium Management in writing at penrithcon@ppandva.com.au by close-of-business on Friday of Week 2 of the current Term. If notice of enrolment cancellation is received by this date, the remaining Term fees (excluding the first two weeks and the Administration Fee) will be refunded to the Client.
- If notice of cancellation is received later than the date defined in Refunds & Cancellations, clause 4., no refunds or credits will be issued.
- Parents and Guardians bear the duty of care for children under the age of 16 at all times and are accountable for escorting their enrolled child/children to and from their designated studio.
- The Student or Client is responsible for informing Penrith Conservatorium of Music upon enrolment of any pertinent medical information that may impact the student’s safety or wellbeing while onsite.
- Penrith Conservatorium of Music may request the Student and/or Client to provide details of a current emergency contact.
At Penrith Conservatorium of Music, we strive to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students, tutors, and staff members. To ensure a positive and enriching experience for everyone, we have established the following Code of Conduct:
- Respect
Treat all individuals with courtesy, respect, and consideration. - Professionalism
Engage in professional and appropriate behaviour when interacting with tutors and management. - Rudeness and Threatening Behaviour
Rudeness and threatening behaviour towards tutors and management will not be tolerated under any circumstances. - Substance Use and Intoxication
Smoking, use of drugs or alcohol, and being under the influence of any intoxicating substances on Penrith Conservatorium of Music premises is strictly prohibited
By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we foster a supportive and harmonious learning environment for everyone involved at Penrith Conservatorium of Music.
Penrith Conservatorium of Music reserves the right to deny entry and refuse service to any Student, Client or other visitor who violates the Penrith Conservatorium of Music Code of Conduct, or displays any other conduct not heretofore mentioned which is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, dangerous or harmful to Penrith Conservatorium of Music or its Tutors, community, or reputation. In such cases where a Client’s service is terminated due to a violation of the Code of Conduct or other action deemed inappropriate, no refunds or credits will be issued.
- Upon enrolment in individual tuition or any other courses at Penrith Conservatorium of Music, you acknowledge and agree to indemnify Penrith Performing & Visual Arts Ltd. from any personal loss, injury, or damage that may arise due to negligence on the part of the Student.
- By enrolling in any courses at Penrith Conservatorium of Music, you grant Penrith Performing & Visual Arts Ltd. permission to utilise images of the Student engaged in Penrith Conservatorium of Music Activities for publicity and promotional purposes. Should you wish to opt out of this provision, please notify Penrith Conservatorium of Music in writing at penrithcon@ppandva.com.au of your preference to abstain from such usage of images. Any photographs featuring you or your child which have been utilised in our promotional materials, can be made available to you upon request.
At Penrith Conservatorium of Music, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of our valued customers. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information within our booking system and when disclosing student contact details to tutors upon request.
- Information Collection and Use
We collect customer information exclusively through our secure booking system. The data we collect may include but is not limited to names, contact details, and relevant student information required for course enrolment and administrative purposes. This information is solely used to facilitate seamless communication, manage bookings, and provide exceptional educational services. - Data Sharing
Penrith Conservatorium of Music does not share any of your personal information with external entities, third parties, or unauthorised personnel. Your personal data remains within our internal systems and is treated with the utmost confidentiality. - Tutor Access to Student Contact Information
In certain cases, Tutors may require access to their Student’s contact details. As such, Tutors can request this information from Penrith Conservatorium of Music. However, this access is strictly limited to ensure that personal data is disclosed solely for legitimate educational purposes and is not misused or shared beyond the context of the educational relationship. - Data Security
Our systems employ industry-standard security measures to protect customer information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. Our booking system utilises encryption and other security protocols to ensure your data’s safe storage and handling. - Consent and Control
